The goal is to create a visual dialogue that transcends geographical boundaries, celebrating cultural diversity and the richness of traditions and landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto\"><strong>COMPETITION THEME<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto translation-block\">The theme, \u201c<strong><em>The Colours of my Land<\/em><\/strong>\u201c, is an invitation to a deep and personal reflection. Participants are called upon to represent not only the objective reality of their places of origin but also their intimate perception and the emotions derived from them. Colors become the universal language to express the identity of a people, their history, their myths, and their hopes..<br><strong>The theme can be interpreted in various ways:<\/strong>:<br>\u2022 <strong>Landscapes and Nature<\/strong>: The distinctive color palette of a landscape, from the warm tones of deserts to the vibrant hues of tropical forests, cold skies of the north to the blue of the sea of the south.<br>\u2022 <strong>Culture and Traditions<\/strong>: The chromatic palette of traditional clothing, folk festivals, markets, and historical architecture..<br>\u2022 <strong>Emotions and Memory<\/strong>: How the colors of a place are linked to childhood memories, sensations, light filtering through a window.<br>\u2022 <strong>Identity and History<\/strong>: The symbolic use of colors to narrate the history of a people or the social struggles that have characterized and continue to characterize their identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto\"><strong>TECHNIQUES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto translation-block\">Works must be original and created specifically for this event. Works realized with any painting technique are accepted, including::<br>\u2022 <strong>Oil<\/strong><br>\u2022 <strong>Acrylic<\/strong><br>\u2022 <strong>Watercolour<\/strong><br>\u2022 <strong>Mixed Media<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto\"><strong>CATEGORIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto\">The contest is open to all artists, both professional and amateur, regardless of age.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto\"><strong>THE PRESIDENT OF THE JURY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"testostretto translation-block\"><strong>Vittorio Maria de Bonis<\/strong>. Literary historian and art critic. Following his thesis at Sapienza University on \"The Name of the Rose\" which was included in the official biography of the novel by Umberto Eco's own wish, he has long undertaken an esteemed activity of artistic and literary consultation and dissemination for institutional bodies, national and international entities and companies, RAI, and radio and television media. A special prize of <strong>500,00 Euro<\/strong> will be awarded to the artist whose work receives the highest number of votes..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">3) <strong>Jury Selection<\/strong>: Parallel to the online vote, an expert jury will select <strong>50 additional works<\/strong>that will also enter the final phase. The Judges will not only focus on technique but also on the originality of the interpretation, the strength of the message and the capacity to evoke emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">4) The Jury will consist of:<br>\u2013 <strong>Prof. Vittorio Maria de Bonis<\/strong>, art critic (Jury President)<br>\u2013 <strong>Ciro Cianni<\/strong>, poet and art writer<br>\u2013 <strong>Matteo Maglia<\/strong>, art historian<br>\u2013 <strong>Annacarla Merone<\/strong>, Association President Test\u2019Art<br>\u2013 <strong>Alessandro Quintiliani<\/strong>, Councilor for Culture and Social Policies of the Municipality of Fiano Romano<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PHASE 2: Exhibition and Award Ceremony in Rome<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I 60 artisti finalisti<\/strong> (10 scelti dal pubblico e 50 dalla giuria) parteciperanno a un&#8217;esposizione presso la prestigiosa Fondazione Amedeo Modigliani a Roma, della durata di una settimana dal 3 al 10 ottobre 2026.<br><br>1) <strong>L&#8217;esposizione<\/strong>: Le opere saranno visibili al pubblico, agli addetti ai lavori, ai collezionisti, ai rappresentanti delle ambasciate e ai giornalisti.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">2) <strong>Final Judgment<\/strong>: During the exhibition, jury members will evaluate the 60 works and select the three winners.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">3) <strong>The Award Ceremony<\/strong>: The award ceremony will be held during the exhibition's <strong>finissage<\/strong>. Awards will be presented on the final day of the exhibition. In addition to prize money (starting at \u20ac 3,500.00), the three winners will receive an <strong>official review from Prof. de Bonis<\/strong>.
