Descrizione: Il dittico Danna Margherita e il Cappello Rosso e Donna Culotte e Donna Bocca (pittura a pigmenti, 35×35 cm ciascuno) appartiene alla collezione Amabili Resti, un ciclo di 22 opere ispirato al film The Lovely Bones del regista Peter Jackson, ed è traslato nella visione artistica di Loredana Raciti. Se nel film il concetto rimanda a una dimensione oltre la vita, nell’opera di Raciti il significato si rovescia: gli amabili resti siamo noi, nel pieno dell’esistenza. Ogni giorno perdiamo qualcosa, eppure ciò che resta — pensieri, emozioni, ricordi — si trasforma in frammento vitale, in una terra interiore che non può essere cancellata. Il dittico afferma con intensità e tenerezza questa verità: fragilità, vulnerabilità, gioia, dolore ed errore non sono scarti, ma materia preziosa. È proprio attraverso questi frammenti che continuiamo a esistere come Amabili Resti di noi stessi, vivi. The diptych Danna Margherita and the Red Hat and Woman Culotte and Woman Mouth (pigment painting, 35×35 cm each) is part of Lovely Remains, a cycle of 22 works inspired by the film The Lovely Bones by director Peter Jackson, and is translated into the artistic vision of Loredana Raciti. While in the film the concept refers to a condition beyond life, in Raciti’s work the meaning is reversed: the lovely remains are ourselves, within life. Each day something is lost, yet what remains — thoughts, emotions, memories — becomes a living fragment, an inner landscape that cannot be erased. The diptych expresses this truth with intensity and tenderness: fragility, vulnerability, joy, pain, and error are not waste, but precious matter. Through these fragments, we continue to exist as the Lovely Remains of ourselves, alive.
